Holiday Shipping Deadlines 2012November 1st, 2012
It’s tough to believe, but the holiday season is right around the corner. To avoid the last minute rush and disappointment of not getting gifts delivered in time we’ve put together a list of holiday shipping dates for our partners. There are also some helpful tips that will help minimize your stress level during this busy time.
As you might expect, the sooner you place your orders, the better. Just think about this statistic, between now and December 24th more print orders will be placed than in the three months leading up to it. So with all these orders flooding in you can see the value of placing yours sooner, rather than later.
About Shipping Deadlines
Please keep in mind that your orders must be placed and approved before the cut-off dates in order to be delivered in time for the holiday. We also recommend using a carrier with tracking, such as FedEx. During the holiday season the USPS is deluged and often times is not as dependable, plus packages cannot be tracked. Here are a few more details on each partner.

NuShots and Nulab
Customers in Australia and New Zealand can now choose high quality prints, gallery wraps, and more from these cutting-edge labs. Nulab is available only to Premium Business subscribers.
NuShots will be closed Friday, December 12 at 5:30PM and re-open Wednesday, January 9 at 8:30AM
Please note NuShots will continue to take your orders submitted via the internet during the Holiday Season. Orders will be printed on a first come – first serve basis once the lab re-opens.

OVI will be closed Monday, December 24-Tuesday, January 1. They will be open December 28th for production only and re-open for normal business on January 2.

Requesting Changes and Cancellations
Our partner labs have the best turnaround times in the industry while maintaining consistent print quality. They work extra hard on keeping up this reputation during the holiday season – often printing, packaging and shipping the same day the order is placed – this means any request for changes need to be sent within minutes of placing an order or it may not be caught in time.
Having an Order Approval enabled in your price list (Premium and Premium Business feature) allows you to review orders placed and make changes before sent for printing, but it also delays sending the order to the lab. Until you approve the order, it is not submitted for printing. With this in mind, be sure to approve all orders as quickly as possible!
Reminders and Promotions
Another way to ensure your clients receive their products in time is to send an email reminder to place their orders prior to the shipping deadlines. This will give you a buffer prior to the final shipping dates. And if you want to boost sales you should consider running a promotion, possibly saying “Order by December 5 to receive gifts in time for Chirstmas”. With a little forward planning we’re sure that you will be able to get all your orders in and processed on time.
