The technologies we have deployed to support People Filter, utilizing aspects of facial recognition software, have been designed in close consultation with our customers and with great attention to issues of data security and privacy raised by these technology advancements.

• The People Filter tool is currently only available in our Portfolio, PortfolioPlus and ProSuite plans.
• The People Filter tool enables photographers, if they choose and in their sole control, to identify and/or more easily sort photographs in a photo gallery they have created for a client.
• Photographers, not Zenfolio, control the People Filter tool’s use and any identification of data to a name or identity of an individual photographed by that photographer.
• If a photographer elects to use the People Filter tool, it applies only to a specific gallery. A photographer using multiple galleries cannot apply the People Filter across galleries, nor can the People Filter tool be activated by Zenfolio. Further, Zenfolio has no independent method to identify or verify an individual based on People Filter data, nor do we intend to develop that capability.
• Zenfolio complies with all state and federal laws and is closely monitoring developments in the realm of personal privacy to ensure we not just comply with those statutes but consistently err on the side of protecting individual privacy.
• As is stated in our privacy policy Zenfolio will not collect additional categories of personal information from photographers or use it differently than as described unless we provide our photographers with advance notice and obtain their consent. Zenfolio never sells any data generated by, or held on behalf of a photographer, neither does Zenfolio sell any data it generates.
