Instead of automatically using the first few seconds of a video clip, you can scroll through and select the start point that best represents the emotion or sentiment of the footage you captured.
Whether it’s the couple’s first dance, a celebratory cheer from the sidelines, or a perfectly composed cheer routine, you get to decide what your clients see first. You also have the ability to pick the duration of the preview clip (either 15 or 30 seconds), giving you even more control over how your video content is initially presented.

If you’re a photographer managing large galleries or working in volume photography, the default preview option helps to keep your upload workflow quick and easy. Zenfolio can automatically use the beginning of your video as the preview, but don’t worry! You will still have the option to fine-tune the clips as needed, too.
A dropdown menu allows you to set an alternative start time or shorten the preview length, giving you just enough flexibility without adding an extra step to your post-processing. This is great for those busy photographers who need to up their productivity without sacrificing the client experience.

Adding video downloads to your price list.
Once your video is uploaded and previewed, it’s time to make it sellable. Within Zenfolio’s Selling section, you can effortlessly add digital video downloads to your price list.
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Click the Selling icon in your Zenfolio account.
- Navigate to the Price Lists tab.
- Open an existing Price List or create a new one.
- Click Add Products, and then select Digital.
- Choose the resolutions you’d like to offer under Single Video Sizes. (To allow the entire gallery to be sold at one cost, go to the All Videos tab and select options under All Video Sizes.)
- Click Done, then Save to activate your offerings.
You can offer a variety of resolutions to fit your business and client needs, from quick social clips that are ready to share to high-resolution, archival-quality downloads. This allows for greater freedom in pricing and packaging your services, whether you’re delivering a small clip or a full-length feature film.

Clients will see the video content directly in their gallery, right alongside the rest of their beautiful photos. When they click to view a video, they’ll see the curated preview, along with the option to purchase the full-length download.

Updated storage limits.
To support the growing needs of photographers working with both photo and video, Zenfolio has also updated how storage works across all plan levels.
Portfolio and PortfolioPlus Plans: Your storage limit remains the same, but photo and video files are now combined under your existing plan limits. If you find that you need additional space, storage add-ons will cover both photo and video content.
ProSuite Plan: You’ll still enjoy unlimited photo storage, but there is now a 150GB cap on video files. Add-on options are available, allowing you to increase storage based on your business needs.
