Knickers & Knees – Scott Detweiler
Scott Detweiler is a Wisconsin-based photographer, specializing in boudoir, senior portraits, and commercial photography. As a Physics major, Scott enjoys the technical aspects of photography, such as being familiar with camera settings, angles, focus depth, fall-off, as well as other aspects of the scene that directly affect the result. He uses his understanding of how an image will look at 24mm versus 200mm, or when lit by a larger or smaller apparent light source, to assist in his creative decisions. A PPA Master Photographer and 2022 ASP State Elite Award winner, Scott loves to help others get past the technical frustrations he experienced when starting out. He shares his knowledge by teaching fellow photographers and creatives via workshops, speaking engagements, and offers seminars on themed shoots, lighting, posing, and post-production that are open to the public out of his studio near Milwaukee, WI.
