The new AI-powered Face Finder gives gallery visitors an easy way to locate photos of themselves or others by uploading a photo or selfie.

Selfie-based search:
Customers upload a selfie or photo, and Face Finder locates matching images within the gallery so they can quickly find and purchase their photos.
Fast results, simple flow:
Matches are returned quickly and presented for easy review; designed to reduce friction for clients looking for their favorite photos.
Photographer controls:
Photographers decide when and where to use Face Finder. Turn on and off with account and gallery-level settings to match your business needs.
Visitor opt-in:
Gallery visitors must opt in before using the feature, ensuring clear consent and reduced liability for photographers.
Compliance-aware:
The Zenfolio platform automatically identifies and disables the Face Finder feature in accordance with local privacy regulations, including restrictions on biometric data in states like Illinois.
Privacy-first handling:
Photos are used only to perform the search within Zenfolio. Clients may delete their uploaded selfie at any time.
People Filter update:
People Filter will now function as a photographer-only tool. You’ll still be able to filter, sort, and organize galleries using facial recognition. On the client side, People Filter is being replaced by Face Finder.
Face Finder is available on PortfolioPlus and ProSuite plans.
