Release Notes: Team Member Management, July 15, 2026

Studio owners on Professional and Advanced plans can now invite team members into their account with role-based access, giving each person their own login credentials and access to only the areas they need.

What’s new:

Invite team members with their own login.

Invite team members by email. Each team member creates their own login credentials and sets up multi-factor authentication (MFA) independently.

Four preset roles defined by specific studio roles.

Choose from four predefined roles:

Photographer

  • Access to Galleries
  • Account Owners can choose Upload Only or Full Access

Content Editor

  • Access to Website, Blog, and SEO tools
  • Website + SEO and Blog access can be enabled or disabled independently

Accountant

  • Access to reporting and exports only

Account Administrator

  • Access to all product areas except Billing and Subscription

Manage access and permissions.

  • Billing and Subscription access remains restricted to the Account Owner
  • Roles can be updated at any time
  • Invite, edit, and deactivate team members from a single management screen

Preserve account history.

When a team member is deactivated, their uploads, edits, and orders remain associated with their account history.

Scoped platform access.

Team members only see the areas of Zenfolio that have been assigned to their role.

Seat limits by plan:

  • Basic: No additional seats
  • Professional: 2 additional seats
  • Advanced: 15 additional seats

Available now. Account Owners can manage team members under Account Settings → Users.
