The small things that used to cost you an hour.

It’s 11pm. You’re tidying up your Zenfolio site, you click once too fast, and the wrong page disappears. Or a client messages to ask whether their gallery actually downloaded. Or a self-fulfilled shipping rate that never quite fit the products eats into your margin, again and again.

Most of these don’t feel like big problems on their own. But they add up, and they tend to happen at the worst possible moments (looking at you, Murphy’s Law).

We recently rolled out six improvements across parts of Zenfolio you use the most. Every one of them came directly from photographer feedback, and each is built to give you time back and take the friction out of your day; More control. Less unnecessary computer work.

Who is this for?

Every photographer who edits their site, sells their work, or delivers galleries.

Featured Products (formerly Quick Shop): Spotlight what sells.

First: Quick Shop is now Featured Products. It is the client shopping experience you’re already familiar with, expanded so you can decide what your clients see first. Instead of a narrow, fast-checkout lineup, you can now spotlight the products that actually drive your business in the most visible part of the shop.

You can now highlight a wider range of items:

  • Packages and Product Builder products
  • Self-fulfillment products
  • Photo gifts and cards
  • All photo and video downloads

The back-end setup is cleaner too, so adding and organizing what you feature takes less time. This is the move from simply a fast checkout to intentional selling—while still maintaining the quick and easy purchase experience for your clients.

Self-fulfillment shipping that fits how you ship.

If you handle your own printing and delivery, shipping can finally match how you actually ship. You can set rates by size, weight, destination, or order value, choose flat or percentage-based pricing by giving a minimum charge, and offer local pickup for in-person handoffs.

Your existing flat-rate, free-shipping threshold, and international options keep working right alongside the new ones. More accurate shipping, fewer refund tickets, and a real path for local pickup.

Undo and redo in the Website Editor.

Ever been in a panic over accidental website page changes? We’ve been there, and we heard you loud and clear! Now you can experiment without second-guessing every move.

Undo and redo work on a per-page basis, tracking up to 20 actions in a session, with keyboard shortcuts:

  • Undo: Cmd/Ctrl+Z
  • Redo: Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y

Deleted pages move to a recovery queue for 30 days, and when you restore one it comes back as a draft so you can review it before it goes live. Go ahead and breathe a sigh of relief, knowing you can get back something you thought was gone. (We’ll take one too.)

Page duplication in the website editor.

Building and updating your site just got more efficient. Duplicating pages is now easier, with the ability to reuse layouts and content. You can duplicate any page directly within the Site Pages panel. All blocks, text, images, styling, and page-level metadata are preserved.

Duplicated pages land in Draft and Hidden with “(Copy)” added to the title. The duplicated page is fully independent and edits do not affect the original page.

Cross-page block copying.

Build a block once, then reuse it. You can copy a customized block to a single page and choose exactly where it lands, or copy it to several pages at once, where it drops to the bottom of each and can be repositioned. A few block types, like hero and contact form blocks, stay one per page. No more rebuilding the same layout five times.

Gallery download improvements for desktop and mobile.

Gallery download improvements might seem like they are mostly for your clients, but they can save you hours in back-and-forth communications and result in more rave reviews about your client experience. Win-win!

On desktop, a ZIP request now triggers an instant confirmation email and a real-time Download Status Page showing processing, ready, failed, and expired states, with a download button right there once the file is ready. It applies to gallery, favorite set, and e-commerce order downloads.

On mobile, individual image saving has clear on-screen instructions, prev and next navigation, and it returns clients to where they left off. Extra perk: Fewer “did it go through?” messages landing on your phone at night.

Why these updates, and why now?

None of this came out of nowhere. Across Mini Pulse, support tickets, and the notes you have been sending our product team for months, the same friction points kept surfacing. These six updates are our answer.

Sometimes even small things can feel like a big deal when they take longer than expected or cut into your profits. Thank you for telling us where things were slowing you down; more of what you asked for is on the way!

Work smarter—not just harder.

Zenfolio’s latest updates help you create, preserve and make changes to your site with ease, give your clients a gallery download experience they’ll love, and more.
